Our Name

“Able Not Ready” is my takeaway catchphrase from something my son said to my daughter a few days after my husband passed. The direct quote is, “Dad left us able, we just weren’t ready.”  

To me this was a perfect title for this blog, which is a transparent glimpse into my passage through the dark devastation of grief to the light of new life.

I can do this…I just wasn’t ready to have to.
